Your main argument is that you have an innate super human senses. What would happen if everyone else holds that argument. Refer to Dfn101 mentioning custard powder. And why would CHS spend extra money on custard powder when it’s simply eggs, milk, flour and vanilla? I have my own hypothesis that is totally independent of whatever you are trying to do . I neither have the interest to change your mind nor pay attention to your efforts. You haven’t even discerned the thrust of my question regarding the H & S! Be brave and post your beliefs regarding the KFC OR! Make a million with it! There was a cook who became a celebrity when he touted coriander! You can do the same with your 27 ingredients! Think of it! You’ll be famous!! Don’t let one forum cage you! Good. Then don't mention me, or quote me in posts that have nothing to do with anything i said. Check back to my post "has anyone tried nigella seed? my first reaction to tasting them was "omg these are in the recipe" Now that was purely an opinion based off taste, i had no evidence whatsoever that they actually were in the recipe until i discovered them later. Which CONFIRMS! my taste is spot on. You can justify it however you like to tho. Fact is, i have better sense of taste. Also, you aren't getting rich off the recipe. In 2023, even if you had the real deal, bona fide recipe, cooked with the real deal proper slow grown chickens, hardly anybody would really care that much. If you are doing this because you think you will somehow make money off it, you are wasting your time.

I have most of my mixes, but I failed to mark the jars. I've made and used custard powder. No opinion. I did not taste cinnamon or vanilla in 1959, and I grew up in a bakery.

Topics are topics and it seems you do not have the faculties to discuss concepts without your delusions getting in the way. You are indeed free to tout your “better taste” as much as you want. But again, that is a rather bland argument ! I’m probably speaking for the rest of the crew as you have insulted so many here. This is far from a pleasant and civil conversation which has no merit whatsoever. I would be surprised if anyone would address you in the future.
Again, put your best forward. Make the claim that it is the KFC OR recipe.

I love how you try to back it up with "oh but deepfriednew101 mentioned it" The fact you would even try to back it up with that really makes you look silly. We both know you were talking about me. Ofcourse you were just talking about what he said from 3 years ago!! Not what i said today, and a few days ago! I haven't insulted anybody personally here. And if anyone feels insulted that is their problem. I simply speak my mind, and share my discoveries. And idc if nobody addresses me in the future, i already told you i'm not here to make friends. And i am pretty much done with this forum. I've revealed most of the secrets, rest is up to you. "can lead a horse to water, but can't force it to drink" I will be enjoying cooking the O.R tho. The last thing i will be doing once i have my recipe refined/tuned a bit more is sending it over to the "food theory" guys on youtube. We will see what they and their audience think of my "delusions" 😉

Prior to your ramblings in November. Cracked them as well because if you tried them you know they are tough little tirds.
Guess what. Did absolutely nothing to advance the smell or taste more or less towards KFC. Now does it leave specks in the coating. Sure, but so does cracked black pepper.
So don't just ass ume that folks haven't tried things

Many even tested Maple syrup as a replacement as OLD Photo of the Museum showed Maple syrup we tested every ITEM that is shown in C.H.S. old Kitchen on the shelves
Remember C.H.S. mentioned items found on everyone shelves or Pantry

Quite A delicious puzzle to solve, DFN101!! As you relate the history of CHS, would know the other areas of the world that he resided? As I glean from your information, he has lived in Kentucky and Canada. An internet source says Mississauga, Ontario where I would think that he already discovered his final H&S! Where I’m getting at is that if he had lived in more ethnically diverse areas, then he would have used more uncommon spices.
In particular, I credit Silvers’ work on star anise in revising my recipe. It’s a spice that is not commonly found in grocery stores in the 1940s unless one lives near ethnic areas.

In that F-16 recipe, the top figures should have read, for example, 13g/26g, not 13g/26oz, and etc. I mistook my own figures. The first figures are for those that insisted on the precise calculations from the particular spice bags. The second figure is for spiking, or whatever it was called. I'm getting old.
