Bootstrapping. Proof of a person's statement can't be "because I said so". Where is the verification of these statements? Lawyers are wary of hearsay statements. Were you in the room every time CHS made a statement?

Cooked one thigh tonight, with this new theory (don't really remember exactly where I posted everything) and it's the best chicken I've ever cooked. I was out of clove, and used just a little, and it was missed. Clove just may be the key ingredient, second to using the correct process. Everything was hodge podge, and I expect to fine tune this. Even chewed the the tips of the bones.

Willie I was present when C.H.S. cooked and showed many things while cooking and Learned How to cook items while He instructed.
Was given instruction's on How to Fry the Chicken and Make side dishes
I was also Present and sat at the same Table and ate with both C.H.S. and Claudia and Had Tons of hours of communication
First hand experience.

How about receiving the chicken, and preparing it in a brine to fry? Did you see that? What was used, and how long did it sit? Back to square one. Nobody has first hand knowledge of what CHS did with the chicken when he started the whole process.

DfN101, eagerly awaiting the process.
I want to know how CHS prepare the vegetables - sautéed, boiled or ground and then juice extracted? Were they boiled first,etc..
Was the chicken raw or did it come marinated. Was the bag of spices already mixed? Did he add additional herbs and spices after the frying?
Did he bake the chicken afterwards?
Thanks ahead of time for divulging the process. On one hand it’s a loss in trying to unravel a puzzle. In the other hand, these are more clues to solving a quest.
Smallgree, how did you prepare the vegetables if that is the route that You took? Was it low temperature fried or still not using a pressure fryer? I think we do not talk often enough about the synergistic effect of the vegetables, herbs and spices when combined together. I find the covered low temperature frying has a superior way of melding the herbs and spices.

If you know it you wouldn't have to look it up, now would you?
I cooked a few more thighs. Used KFC seasoning with this new technique. Tasted just like KFC, but not as tender as you would get with a pressure cooker. I'm on to the proper ingredients now. I used corn starch, dried low fat milk powder and just a little milk in a baggie as "wash". Worked perfect.
Started at 375 for 3 minutes, reduced to med. low, covered and cooked for 7 minutes. Nothing fell off the chicken, including the skin which stuck like glue. I brined the chicken, but I haven't revealed the process yet, until I hear it from some other source. LOL

I got a turkey brine recipe off of the internet many years ago. I've never seen it since. It is a very simple recipe, but greatly seasons and colors the meat. I have a funny feeling that this is the actual brine used by CHS, and someone secretly posted it on the net. I got it from a blog. Only 5 ingredients, including salt and honey. I have a slew of these blog posts which I've posted through the years, which have been roundly rejected. Maybe this work is about to produce fruit. I think I'll go back and gather them together into one file. The most obscure was the Florida fellow who swore that CHS did not give the original recipe to Brown, but kept it with himself until the day he died. This is the kind of man I believe CHS was.

C.H.S. gave the recipe to Brown NOT Massey when he sold out to the Two.
In later Years Brown spoke about the Recipe and C.H.S. spoke about giving the Recipe to Brown.
Brown Helped C.H.S. settle the Lawsuit with the NEW AGE K.F.C. as a side Note after Brown and Massey sold out to the New Age K.F.C.
Brown asked C.H.S. to re-write the recipe so it could be give to NEW AGE as Brown was NOT going to Give the ORIGINAL RECIPE which C.H.S. wrote for Brown and Massey as it had to much personal value to Brown.
