Our preference in Mace, over Nutmeg.
But use FRESH nutmeg and Mace that is finger grated on a Micro Plain Grater.
We micro plain garlic also for a Deeper Garlic taste.
Shallots and Garlic fine chopped and browned in a Skillet then Dried will change ANY recipe FLAVOR.
In your recipes instead of Onion or Garlic Powder
Purchase Dehydrated Onion and Garlic and pulse grind it down WAY better Flavor then pre Powdered.
If your looking to Try I&G and cannot find it TIP
Most Powdered Onion Soup Mix Lipton's or Knorr have I&G in the Dried Onion Soup Mix. The Beef Flavor powder will NOT hurt the Chicken Flavor either, it will add some Aroma

I grazed into the conversation with a micro plain grater.
The Fresh items Nutmeg / Onion / Garlic on a micro plain grater was the BEST quality I tried to suggest.
