For the '20 grams in 200 grams of flour' recipe as seen above, it would be interesting to try cooking it using 1 gram of Allspice, and also cooking it using zero Allspice, but with the addition of 0.20 grams Clove + 0.40 grams Cinnamon + 0.40 grams Nutmeg as an Allspice substitute, and comparing them for flavor and aroma and the 'note'.
Edit: If they both deliver quite the same 'note' as to flavor and aroma, then this would provide strong proof that Eugenol is the root source of the note.

A recipe with 20 grams in 200 grams of flour mix, and thus in full 'scaled' compliance with the 40 ounce bag. With 10 grams of MSG combined with 1 full gram of Eugenol delivering Allspice (which provides the flavors of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg) this recipe should (theoretically at least) deliver the 'note'. If I was to work out a 20g version to represent the 40oz bag. I also would have bumped up MSG as well. Probably to 8g to keep with the ratios I have been working on lately. Leaving me with 10.7g for H&S.
Weight formula (10.7g H&S), 8g MSG, 1g salt, 0.3g garlic powder

I'm moving the 20 grams in 200 grams recipe over to my 'cook it' list. I have a good feeling about it. Not that my feelings have any sort of magical power. Only @eastfrisian is certified to have such powers. If he ever hits the recipe/nail on the head, some wild things are going to happen.

Thinking maybe next week will work for a cook. Not sure what recipe version but I will cook a piece of the Kitchen Sink against it.
Wrestling with the amount of Sage to use. I have worked up a recipe with .70g for 200g flour which for me would be the highest level used to date.

Post your recipe when you have settled upon it. And don't forget to give a report after cooking it.

20g of spice and Herb to 200g of Flour is TOO LOW
I encourage to go 30g of spice to 200g and sift the MIX 3 times prior to using the seasoned flour

deepfriednew101 , this is what a recipe containing 30 grams of H&S in 200 grams of Flour might actually look like. The H&S sum to 30 grams. The H&S plus MSG sum to 45 grams. Is this along the lines of a recipe you would cook?

Ledington's recipe, when using Tablespoons for everything except Pepper (which would use Teaspoons), might hit ~30 grams of H&S in 200 grams of flour.
