Do you mean is it a liquid or is it a Solid state like Crisco or Lard ?
I have used Palm Oil in a Liquid.
It may be in other forms but that's what may be the more accessible form in some areas.

Yes, solid like Crisco or lard. The image at this wikipedia web link shows it being sliced like butter or cheese. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palm_oil

Given that liquid Palm Olein is the most widely used "gold standard" frying oil in the world, I wonder why I've never seen it in my life here in the USA?

I'm interested in trying out both the semi-solid shortening like palm oil, and the 'gold standard' liquid palm oil.

You can try it and it is not bad BUT for the best results Beef Tallow is the Best results some like Duck Fat But its hard to get
