Why bother, unless the intention was to recirculate the photo. Very suspicious, and in my mind, an indication that the vials do not contain CHS's 11, but KFC's 11.

The second photo was edited. Someone (digitally) added letters using a free KFC style font. The original photo shows handwritten letters. Vial A and B noticeably less faded. |

Someone edited the letters on the vials within one of the two images. I don’t find *that* aspect unusual. It is an obvious “enhancement”. Many have done similar things. @2whlwzrd did it and added Spice containers. @11serbs did similar things with the Napkin and tray. Questfor11 did something like it in the other forum labeling certain ingredients, if I recall correctly. With the right tools and skills, it is quickly done and allows for easy identification. Not a big deal. It might even be known here who made that version. I don’t think a corporation was involved at all, which seemed to be the implication in the follow-on. The edited version seems to have worse resolution though, unfortunately. |

Some chap just added bold letters. Even made the effort to use a KFC font. Very easy job. Could have been me. I try to think outside the box a lot. But I can't see how someone could possibly jump to that conclusion.

we can Draw a Ton of conclusions regarding the Printing on the vials I agree
BUT
There is ONLY 3 things that are possible
1) The Vials are 100% accurate
2) The vials are Only partially correct
3) The Vials are only commentative and were used for color Purpose and show.
These leads to Questions
1) when KFC mention there are Vials of Spices in the Vault ? Are the Vials true 100$ accurate representation the match the Hand written Note containing the 11 Spices and Herbs
2) Is it the 1985 Commemorative Vial set the true and Accurate representation of the 11 Herbs and Spices if yes who released the then more than 2 people know the ingredients on the original KFC written NOTE.
A simple question for the forum is a yes / No question we can ask ? answer if you think the vials are True accurate YES or False NO
My answer MAYBE

I was under the impression that the first photo I posted was the "larger" version of the photo. That was my belief when I saved it years ago. What I'd like to know is how Mark or anyone got to the actual vials and "re-marked" them? If they modified the photo, how did they do so? Photoshopped? If Photoshopped, why go through the effort? Doesn't prove anything. It just becomes Corporate promotion. In my profession this piece of work needs to have a foundation laid and should be authenticated. Otherwise it is suspect for no reason other than it is left dangling in the air without proof as to why it was done.
And why would anyone enhance the "alphabetized" vials, which should have been numbered? Doesn't clarify or prove anything. It just helps KFC promote their "narrative". Makes me wonder why some people are rowing one way and others are rowing in the opposite direction.
