KFC UK has recently reintroduced seasoned fries, claiming a connection to the Original Recipe. In their description, they even hinted at a few ingredients that might be part of the OR. Moreover, they're offering insights into the very definition of herbs and spices according to KFC. Below is copied from the official website: "Introducing the new KFC Signature Fries. Our classic skin on fries covered in an original recipe style seasoning. (...) Under cover of darkness, we've worked round the clock to create a delicious new Original Recipe style seasoning to flavour our KFC Fries. Our Original Recipe Chicken has always held up its end of the bargain and it turns out, KFC Fries can be Finger Lickin' too." WHAT FLAVOUR IS THE NEW FRIES SEASONING? The seasoning is a blend of savoury herbs & spices including black pepper, white pepper, paprika, sage, rosemary and bay which perfectly seasons our skin-on potato fries. WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS OF YOUR NEW SIGNATURE FRIES? The full ingredients list is as follows: Potato, Vegetable Oil (Sunflower, Rapeseed) in varying proportions, Salt, Maltodextrin, Yeast Extract, Spices, Onion Powder, Sugar, Tomato Powder, Herbs, Garlic Powder, Acid (Citric Acid), Spice Extract, Flavouring. The ‘Spices’ refer to black pepper, white pepper and paprika and the ‘Herbs’ refer to thyme, sage, rosemary, bay and oregano. www.kfc.co.uk/kfc-signature-fries

Hey East Friesen YOUR TWO AND HALF YEARS YEARS behind the 8 Ball
This is JUST ONE of MY POST FROM 2.5 Years AGO regarding the Original Seasoning On Other items Including French Fries
In some Regions and Counties they listed the items that were being used On Coated French Fries and other Specialty Original Seasoned Items.
Calvin King took Notes and Points of what was being added to ALL the Seasoned items French Fries and Coated Items Popcorn Chicken ETC ETC ETC.
This is a example of what was/is being used on some Item's at KFC
monosodium glutamate, maltodextrin, salt, dextrose, vegetable powders (onion, carrot, tomato), tricalcium phosphate, hydrolyzed soy protein, spices, soybean oil, natural flavors, potassium chloride, paprika extract (color), turmeric extract (color).
I posted other ingredient list from other Countries what they references in the Other items LIKE Grille Chicken and I posted Todd W Grille Chicken recipe which the KFC Video Gave Him Extra original Seasoning at a Take Out Window. DO YOU WANT ME TO RE-POST the things from 2.5 YEARS AGO
BUT YOUR THE MAN NOW LMAO Little to late

Now that someone brings up an official source that might be of interest to people, you come out of your hole and make a claim. Shoot the arrow first, then paint the target around it. You are not intelligent enough to challenge me. Your attempt to attack me looks rather helpless and desperate.

...new Original Recipe STYLE (emphasis mine) seasoning... is a legal term which means..........it is not it, but developed in "the spirit" of the original.
The ‘Spices’ refer to black pepper, white pepper and paprika and the ‘Herbs’ refer to thyme, sage, rosemary, bay and oregano. Pretty dubious at best, although my newest research uses everything except paprika. Maybe I'm on to something, or maybe someone has thrown a curve.
I still can't figure out why someone who knows everything about CHS, including, but not limited to, his show size, and claims to have read an original recipe, continues these debates, research projects, and conjectures. I just don't get it.
That recipe posted by Calvin King, was a joke. Now we get to read about some of his actions regarding the mixing of recipes. WTF! I'd better read some corroboration about that story, or........................

Many mysteries in this forum, indeed. Smallgree, since you have several bags (3?) of the OR spice mix, have you had it analyzed to determine its ingredients? And if not, why not? Isn’t it your mission to determine the ingredients?
Silver, if you were going for a masters’ thesis or a PhD, would you be so affected by another source of information? Or, just test your hypothesis and make a conclusion from it to confirm or deny the information? This forum has become toxic in the last few days. Not sure why Dutch hasn’t refereed .
DFN101, I have the same questions as Smallgree. But I haven’t been here long enough to perhaps feel his frustrations. But each bit of info you give is a good idea to consider and test its worthiness. I think you need to punctuate and spell better. I admit that some of your additions are like reading a Rosetta Stone without translations. Maybe that will go a long way to being better understood. And by the way, what missions do you engage in?
