deepfriednew101 , leaving aside the given that the aroma note requires oil seasoning, in your opinion is there any truth to Cardamom playing a big part in evolving the 'correct' KFC aroma note? Or is this merely a dead end?

we have tried Cardamon on multiple attempts and it Adds to some Aroma is it THE WOW ITEM and THE ONE that will Make immediate K.F.C. Aroma NO it will NOT
it does Add some Aroma YES
Personally the Pimento, Pepper, Red Pepper, Chili, Sage, Paprika, Mustard, Garlic, Onions are some of the Main Boost of Aroma and Yeast has Added a Aroma More than Cardamon
Tommy S Recipe which Uses ONLY 11 Basic Shelf Ingredients Uses Heavy Measurements of Ginger over other items and There was NO words saying it was a Heavy K.F.C. smell
while Todd Wilbur Had comments from many who said the Cooking outside the Truck was a Heavy smell of K.F.C. BUT he also made Many cooking attempts in the OIL and used basic ingredients

if I was to choose over Coriander and Cardamon as a either and or I would USE Coriander has WAY More punch in Taste and Aroma than the Cardamon
I will maintain Bill S extra Ingredient was Coriander which Grace's Perfect blend uses ALSO THEY DO NOT use Cardamon

Deepfried101, could you please clarify “Pimento, Pepper, Red Pepper, Chili, ”
Pimento, is that paprika? Chili here can mean a mix that includes cumin- a spice that I feel runs counter to the note. Thnx.

Allspice makes sense. And what about “chili”?
Terms are always important especially when we are literally communicating between many countries.
