I've got the recipe as good as i think anybody will ever get it. I 100% got the real 11th ingredient which gives the chicken a strong smell and distinct note. I got the vanilla, i got over 8 herbs, i got the ratios good, i got the nutmeg, i got all the yummy goodies (cardamom too) plus many others. I got the citrus.
I have it so close now that i could only be missing either 1 ingredient, or have 1 ingredient that is not in there. Or have an ingredient that is not in there, but doesn't affect it in anyway cause the taste is so mild. You all can go in circles not being able to make your mind up on certain ingredients etc
For example, Ken on other forum thinking there is now no ginger 🤣 Ginger is a 100%er and if that's not obvious to you, i would give up now. Then there are people who think Sage is not in there 🤣

So: [1] vanilla, [2] nutmeg, [3] cardamom, [4] citrus (whatever that means), [5] ginger, [6] sage... What else? We would like to replicate it so we can confirm your claim. You'll get all the credits. C'mon! Do it!

Black and White pepper bring this to 8 of 11. Garlic is in there because it is an openly listed ingredient on the bags. That brings it to 9. The vials clearly show 3 herbs, but here only Sage is mentioned as an herb. Add 2 more herbs to 9 and you have 11. But Coriander and Cardamom are both known for delivering citrus. And Coriander delivers the requisite nuttiness. Ginger delivers the vanilla when it's level is raised. I now realize that overwhelming vanilla was the big turn off my wife and I experienced when we jacked up Ginger to the level equivalent of 4 Oz. in 25 Lbs. of flour. Since Ginger is the Vanilla source that opens a door to Allspice, Clove, Anise Seed, and/or Star-Anise.
Nothing here seems even remotely ground breaking.

I made a inquiry to the FDA
With 3 Direct Question and was specific to KFC Brand
Question 1, has there what would the FDA Do if a company is misrepresenting Celery, Garlic, Onion, Tomato in a recipe as Herbs or Spices ? as Celery, Garlic, Onion, are vegetable as defined in there act and Tomato is a Fruit ?
REPLY: ANY company who Misrepresents a Ingredient Would be subject to a Immediate recall of the item and subject to sanction and Fine Possibility. Both Retail and Restaurant Use. BUT THEY MUST WORK OFF A COMPLAINT.
Question Has there been complaint regarding KFC ?
Reply: YES there have been complaints against KFC and almost every other company who have been in Business as Long as they have been in Business.
Question: If they call the Item in the Public 11secret Herbs and Spices Does that mean that there ARE ONLY 11 items in the BAG?
Reply: KFC DOES NOT have the Spice Mix they sell and Bag Called 11 Herbs and Spices ? So it can have what they want in the Bag BUT MUST LIST items which are Mandatory items to be listed as allergens and Salt, M.S.G. ETC ETC ETC.
Question" I asked the Question again for confirmation can there be more then 11 Herbs and Spices in the Recipe ?
Reply: KFC has been investigated many Times and they have indicated that there are 11 herbs and Spices Which Do Not include Salt, M.S.G. and other items have been listed ON THE BAG indicating other items above the 11 Herbs and Spices ?
The Answer they gave then Sparked more Questions?
Question: So if they List items on the Bag Does that Mean that they Are NOT counted as the 11 secret Herbs and Spices ?
Reply: If the 11 Secret Herbs and Spices are classified as Safe Herbs and Spices they DO NOT HAVE TO LIST THE ITEMS. Any item that is listed would most likely NOT be in the 11 Herbs and Spices Secret if they released those items. BUT THAT WOULD ONLY BE SPECIFIC TO Herbs and Spices as they specifically publicly say Herbs and Spices.
There was more to the conversation which indicated that KFC seems to Hide the 11 Herb and Spies and release names of items outside the 11 Herbs and Spices that are Vegetable or Fruit or mandatory.
Question: Can KFC change the Original Recipe and NOT inform the FDA ?
Reply: Any Packaging item can be changed and RETIAL ITEMS usually Print NEW Recipe because KFC DOES NOT RETAIL Sell the Item they DO NOT HAVE TO indicate items change ? Except if the item is a Mandatory item to be Listed. I was told to request or view KFC ingredient list or view it on the Corporates Web site as most companies list items on the Web site.
Question Can a person obtain the Complaints filed against KFC and get the reply's from FDA
Reply: All request must be made in writing

WHY DID I contact the FDA ?
Because the Recipe that is written by C.H.S. has 11 Herbs and Spices and OTHER ITEMS NOT HERBS AND SPICES and is wrote in a VERY precise Order
I have said MANY times NOW that Celery, Onion, Garlic are listed outside the 11 items.

I've never seen Celery, Onion, or Tomato listed as ingredients. And since (per you) they are neither Herbs nor Spices, they must be listed.

There was almost a retail sale packaged H&S box. And guess what: No onion, celery, tomato, garlic, or vegetables.

Celery was listed in the 1970's and Garlic and Onion Have been Listed for many Years.
Tomato being a fruit and NOT a safety issue Does Not have to be listed.
Garlic and Onion are as FDA say Preferred taste items which many companies list typically for convince.
It does NOT appear that Tomato has been used with the NEW AGE for a long time as the KFC seasoning is NOT RED and You cannot remove the Pigment from Tomato

There was almost a retail sale packaged H&S box. And guess what: No onion, celery, tomato, garlic, or vegetables. The Box was a Pro-type and NEVER mass produced or sold ? So its Only a Draft copy. It Would have NOT met the requirement for Retail Sale in the year of intended use The Box was made for Florida Take Out locations under C.H.S control at the time NOT A KFC NEW AGE ITEM. There was Only 20 Boxes made at that Time as a sample run For C.H.S. THE LABEL would have Never Passed the FDA at that time. It was Never presented to the FDA for approval either

The word Almost sold or Almost distributed MEANS ZERO it's a porotype.
I have Old merchandise with incorrect spelled items of KFC they never passed the Quality control and are worth more money then the Proper spelled items for antiques as they are NON-existent.
