You say nobody is talking about adding pepper/salt to the milk/egg wash, well they must have because i remember reading it somewhere and have done it many times. Have also added just a pinch of the spice mix to the egg wash too. Good thing about having absolute proof of those spices i discovered, is that any recipe that anyone claims as being the O.R, i can easily confirm as being real or fake just by seeing if it has those ingredients i discovered. Clearly, no one on this forum, including you, will ever be able to HONESTLY proclaim that they have the secret original recipe. All that any of us can hope for is to get close enough to the taste of KFC OR that it doesn't matter. |

I have Posted about Salt and pepper in the milk and Eggs and adding 11 Spice and Herbs All was suggestions to add the items to taste.
This is the First Time the exact amounts have been Posted for the amount used in 1939 of Salt and Pepper to 1 Gallon skim Mild and 8 eggs

K.F.C. associates Know that the Original was released, inadvertently or NOT they Know the recipe was released by NEW AGE K.F.C. NOT a relative or Troll They Dropped the Ball and they KNOW it.

There has Been NO internet recipe which has Printed 1 Gallon Skim Milk, 8 Eggs, 1 teaspoon of Salt, 1 teaspoon of Pepper, which was used From the Pressure cooker time Period 1939/1940.

That you would also need to say for what time frame or date did you crack the recipe. 1939 is not the same recipe as 1985 or today |

That is absolutely correct. even if someone literally got every single ingredient correct, and it tasted identical to the O.R, you still could not say it is 100% the recipe because you have no way of knowing for sure unless you could compare it to the real recipe in vault. You could still say it tastes exactly like the O.R. I do however have literal proof of a spice being in the recipe which also gives you clues to other spices being in the recipe. So even tho i can't say i know all the O.R ingredients 100%, i can say with absolute certainty, i can confirm a spice being in the recipe. And it isn't b/w pepper, cayenne/paprika, garlic/onion. And therefore i can confirm if any leaked recipe is the real deal or not. |

I brine my chicken in seasoning, msg, black and white pepper, salt and baking powder. When done, I do not rinse the chicken. I mix egg and milk and cornstarch for the wash. I take the "wet" chicken and let it sit in the wash. The flavorings I used in the brine, including chicken "juice", flavor the wash. It is the "wet" brine flavorings that "enrich" the wash. Tried and true, and no other technique have worked as well for me. I never heard of this "tsp salt, tsp pepper, cream of tartar" stuff. I use cream of tartar to keep my corned beef from turning grey. I never read anything about a "leaked" OR. If there is one, I'd like to hear from the one who "picked up the ball".

The recipe Bill Summers worked on for MK, Winston’s and what Pat Grace used are all derived from the same recipe. I believe based on a timeline I also posted. That when MK was denied being able to sell to the corporations in the US. CHS gave this version away as a giant middle finger to the Corp. It was modified based on supply chain. And not the recipe in the vault |
