M.S.G.

I was asked this Question in Private and think the answer needs posting.


I have said Many Times that M.S.G. was the item added which C.H.S. spoke about in reference to the Two Handfuls at the Cumberland Lake catered Dinner.

People ask how I have made that conclusion?

M.S.G. was available between the 1920-and late 1930's in the USA then Stopped supply shipments which also lasted over the War Time

BUT Major amounts were being used BY Campbell's and Kraft as 2 examples. They wanted more product when it could be re supplied.

M.S.G. WAS one of ONLY Two items shipped in the Corrugated Cardboard Barrels?

It was introduced Back into the USA between the 1949-1951 Era into the USA.

There was NO large Boat Dock until the 1955/1956 Boating season.

C.H.S. called the item a ELEMENT which is what Ac'cent Called the M.S.G. / it was also listed as a Vegetable Item.

C.H.S. said that the 11 Herbs and Spices were developed 16 years Prior to the TWO Handfuls event

There were NO FDA regulations regarding amounts of M.S.G which could or could NOT be used until the 1980'S BUT salt was already a issue for FDA. The Chinese M.S.G. syndrome NEVER caused F.D.A. to change laws when it happen, and was classified safe.

Yes there is 1 or 2 which said that

BUT

there are 20 different ones in Canada and other countries which say the 11 Spices & Herbs were made in 1939 ALL 11 ingredients
Cumberland is 1955/1956 as the Cumberland Lake was built by the United States Corp of Engineers and NOT open until after the 1952/1953 boating season and BIG BOAT docks 1955/1956

I have seen the videos and watched which say 10 spices and herbs if YOU VIEW others of the Same Time period those were Made radio or Newspaper or T.V. C.H.S. often said that it was ABOUT 10 Spices he was at KEY WORD ABOUT / he was NOT exact but before that time perios of interviews he was trying to stay away from the word M.S.G.

WHY DOES EVERY KFC NEW AGE AD on every wall say the 11 Herbs and Spices since 1939

F.D.A. and C.F.I.A. Does Not list M.S.G. as a Herb or Spice. THEY BOTH NEVER HAVE.

They Both have it Listed as a Mandatory Listed item with Salt, M.S.G. MANDATORY LISTED ITEMS ON ALL LABELS
This Does NOT mean it has to be discussed on Interviews unless specifically ASKED.

I want ANYONE TO ANSWER THE QUESTION why Does K.F.C. NEW AGE show posters in the Stores 11 Spices and Herbs since 1939.

AGAIN it was a process time where for what ever reason C.H.S. was flip flopping with the words of 10 or 10ish approximately.
